Guests from our events have been kind enough to say lovely things about their events held on Westminster Party Boats. Here are just some of them:
Dear Sue
Just to let you know that Harriet’s 18th on Saturday was a great success. Great boat, lovely staff, good food and an excellent DJ. They loved it.
Astonishingly, even the boys arrived in good time, some having left the England game early in order to make it by 8.00. Although I hadn’t realised it was a competition, I’m reliably told that ‘no one will beat it’! – so I wanted to say thank you to you, and please pass on our thanks to the crew.
Kind regards,
Hilary Lewis
Hi Rosie,
Hope you and all the crew of the Mercedes have recovered from the Jubilee Pageant!!
We just wanted to say a big “Thank You” for what was one of the most memorable days we’ve ever had.
I shopped around, and at £100 per head, yours was one of the cheapest deals for a passenger boat actually participating in the flotilla. I have no idea what the more expensive boats provided that you didn’t, but I fail to see how their trip could have been any better than yours!
It was clear that a lot of planning went on behind the scenes, and we could sense the stress you were under in some of your emails! And on the actual day, the crew worked tirelessly to ensure everyone had a good time.
The whole day was absolutely perfect, and I would be grateful if you could pass on our thanks to everyone involved. We’ll certainly be recommending you for future events (after securing our own tickets first of course!).
We can sum up our Jubilee day on the Mercedes in two words “Simply Superb!”
Many thanks,
Gaynor & Kevin Rudge
My wife and I were privileged to have been invited to the Thames Pageant on 3rd June, and were equaly privileged to have been on board the Mercuria.
We would like to express our thanks to the crew on the Mercuria for making a very special day even more special.
The welcome and the service we received were exceptional. Not only was food and drink kept flowing throughout the afternoon, but everything was performed by happy, cooperative, smiling staff, and nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Some of your folks were absolutley drenched by the end, but they showed the same dedication to looking after passengers at the end of the trip as they did at the start – you should be very proud of the way they looked after their guests, and we congratulate you on finding and training such fine staff.
The skipper warrants special mention … despite constantly having his view obscured by enthusiastic passengers, he was a saint in the way he kept his cool and very diplomatically reminded people of the need to let him see where he was going! It was no mean feat achiving what he needed, but it was done so profesionally and calmly (he must surely have been very frustrated at times, but it never showed).
Yes, we were very lucky to have been on board the Mercuria, and we consider ourselves very fortunate to have been your guests.
Well done to everyone involved from Westminster Party Boats – brilliant!
Kindest Regards,
Phil Cook
A BIG THANK YOU FROM HELP A LONDON CHILD
I am writing to thank you for the fabulous donation of £100 in support of Natalie Preece’s trek to New Zealand in 2003. Please pass on our thanks to everyone at Westminster Party Boats, your donation will help thousands of children and families in the capital.
Natalie’s trek is going to be a real Challenge so thank you for helping her towards completing her first task – raising £2800 in sponsorship! Without such dedicated fundraisers HALC would not be able to continue it’s fantastic work.
HALC is a registered charity based at Capital Radio (registered charity number 1091657). Grants help fund play & special needs equipment; sports & leisure activities; youth clubs; refugee & homelessness projects; activity breaks in the UK; educational programmes; and much more. Don’t forget that money you raise also goes towards the purchase of toys and non-perishable food for children, families and pensioners in need at Christmas time.
Thanks to the support and generosity of Westminster Party Boats we will be able to help many more people this year and make sure it is the biggest and best appeal yet!
With many, many thanks,
Best Wishes

Dear Tony,
We want to say a huge thank you and congratulations for making the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant the momentous success that it was.
Truly, it was history in the making and we are very grateful for your support, patience and dedication in the lead up to and on this significant day. Thanks to your hard work we managed to create the biggest river pageant since 1602 and smashed the Guinness World Record!
Of course pageant day bought its own trails in terms of the weather but nothing could stop the sprit of the participants. We hope you are as proud of yourselves as we are of you. Here is a link to our website with some further information about the legacy of the Pageant https://www.thamesdiamondjubileepageant.org/Default.aspx

Finally to say it’s been a pleasure for each of us to work with you and thanks again for helping to create the historic Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant.
Yours sincerely,
Adrian, Sarah, Amy, Dawn & Charlotte.
To everyone that was working on the Mercedes boat on NYE.
Me and my friends were due on the boat on NYE, we left 2 hours to travel there, but we underestimated the sheer amount of people that would be in the area. We were late but the boat came back for us!!
I would like to say a hugemungus thank you to every one that made it happen!!! We are all so so grateful! We all had a fabulous night and couldn’t thank you all enough!!!!!
Lots of appreciation from Becky Thompson and the other 7 guests that were with me.
Thank you.
Hi Rosie,
I hope you’re feeling a bit better. (Your colleague mentioned you were poorly last week)
I’m just writing to say a quick thank you for last week Thursday, we had an amazing time!
The food was excellent, please give our complements to your catering team. Some people even had thirds. The DJ was excellent too, though unfortunate for him the weather was too good, so he didn’t get many people onto the dance floor.
And of course the guys behind the bar!
All in all: excellent.
Dear All at Westminister Party Boats,
I organised out works Christmas Party on the Mercia on the 16th of December 2011 and just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone at Westminister Party boats. We had a fantastic evening. The catering was lovely, the DJ played all the cheeesy numbers asked, the bar staff were very patient and the crew very helpful. The whole process of booking the boat was easy and everyone in the office was very helpful and kind (it was not the easiest event to organise from my work’s end!). I would recommend Westminister Party boats in the future to anyone wanting a cruise/event on the Thames
Many thanks and all the best for 2012
Claire Hayzelden.
